Terms of service
These are our terms — the rules that keep EasyCo a calm, safe place for both co-parents.
1. What EasyCo is
EasyCo Parenting is a private workspace for two co-parents to coordinate the day-to-day stuff: shared calendar, child support tracking, expense splitting, and family messages. Access is by invitation, and one parent (the admin) sets up the family.
2. Acceptable use
Use EasyCo for honest co-parenting coordination. To keep the workspace safe for everyone, please don't:
- Share your login credentials with anyone outside your co-parenting arrangement.
- Use one account across multiple families — each parent gets their own login.
- Enter false or misleading information.
- Try to access another family's data.
- Scrape, crawl, or pull data from EasyCo by automated means without our permission.
- Use EasyCo to harass, threaten, or harm anyone — including the other parent.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. The admin role has full control over family data, so transferring admin to the other parent is a big step — it sticks until someone transfers it again.
4. Your data and privacy
Your data is yours. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and how we handle it. Short version: we store only what we need to run EasyCo for your family, we don't sell anything, and we don't use your data for ads.
5. Liability and disclaimers
EasyCo is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The numbers in EasyCo (child support balances, expense splits) are for your coordination — they aren't legal or financial advice. To the extent the law allows, our liability is capped at what you've paid us in the last 12 months.
6. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from Settings — Danger Zone. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms (especially the "acceptable use" section above), but we'll do our best to give you fair warning when possible.
7. Disputes
If something goes wrong, please email us first at support@esaycoparenting.com. Most things get sorted out quickly that way. If we can't resolve it informally, any unresolved dispute will be handled by binding arbitration in California, USA. You also keep the right to use small-claims court for individual claims.
8. Changes to these terms
If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, so you can review and decide what's right for you. Smaller cleanups (typos, links, clarifications) we'll just publish.
9. Contact
